我们欢迎你与人分享你担任义工的点滴，但是我们请你不要将我们服事的儿童的照片公开上传至社交媒体，以保护他们的身份，地理位置和尊严。我们希望确保在积极影响他们的生活的同时，不让他们遭受来自网上或掠童者的危险。我们定期在我们的社交媒体上发布，所以请你关注我们，随时在你的个人页面上分享这些公开照片。
根据你的兴趣和适合的时间。我们有一次性的活动，每个周末或每月一次在社区举办的活动。

Sorry, tax exemption does not apply at the moment. We are applying for tax exemption status and will issue a public announcement upon approval.
100% of your giving goes into a pool fund that will be channeled to the beneficiary./p>
You are helping children and families from the urban poor communities as well as the rural.
These are children & families that are trapped in poverty.
The children face many challenges that resulted in them dropping out of school: hungry & malnourished, struggle with poor grades, lack guidance & attention, live in poor conditions and unstable homes.
They need our help to break free from poverty. When you give, you’re making a difference for you & your family too. Because you’re investing in building a better society, community and nation that we as Malaysians & our future generations can thrive in.
Yes you can! If there is a specific cause or program that you are passionate about, please state the name of the program at the back of a cheque or in the notes of your online bank transfer, and kindly notify us through info@mukenfoundationkl.org
Please note that costs vary from program to program and if sufficient funds are raised for a specific program each year, the remainder will be channeled towards other programs. We promise to use every resource entrusted to us honestly & effectively, hence it will always be channelled to where it is needed.

We recognize that every resource entrusted to us can transform beneficiaries’ lives. We promise to manage the funds received honestly and will use it effectively to benefit the society. This includes carrying out:
Annual audits in accordance with approved standards on auditing in Malaysia by an independent public accounting firm.
Consistent management reviews and monitoring of operating costs ensure that resources are optimized and within approved budgets.
Project evaluations to assess the ongoing effectiveness of our programs in meeting our beneficiaries’ needs.
Volunteering is one of the most rewarding things you can do. It’s a great way to experience your community at the grassroots, discover your passion, and learn about how Love transforms lives through serving people!
We welcome you to share & inspire others with your volunteering journey. But we ask you kindly refrain from publicly posting pictures on social media of the children in our programs to protect their identity, location and dignity. We want to ensure that while we impact their lives positively, we are not subjecting them to any danger from online/child predators. We post regularly on our social media channels, so do follow us & feel free to share these public photos on your personal page!
Based on your interest & availability, we have volunteer opportunities for one-off events, weekends or monthly basis in our communities and center.
Some of our programs require a higher commitment level than others; please refer to Volunteer Opportunities to determine the best match for your schedule. The opportunities might vary from time to time.
Some of our programs may have certain requirements or need certain qualification, but mostly your availability.
No, it is purely voluntary basis. We ensure that we appreciate and acknowledge your service through small gifts/notes prepared by our staff throughout your volunteer journey. We hope that the relationship you cultivate with the people you serve will be a fulfilling experience for you.
