社会上，有许多人在贫穷线上挣扎求存。一旦遇到突发事故如意外、失业、重病、伤残等，更会在生活及经济上产生困难。

他们或因不符合政府福利制度的规定，或因无法及时得到援助，导致生计陷困，成为所谓的急难家庭。

因此，7979急难家庭救助计划是透过与教会合作设立的7979全人关怀站，动员志工进行关怀访视，及时给予心灵慰助，并且在经济上及物资上给予及时的援助，以期度过短暂的难关。

Nowadays, many people are struggling to survive on the poverty line. They may catch in extremely critical situations in the event of unexpected incidents such as accidents, unemployment, serious illness, disability and etc.

Sometimes, they are not able to get immediate help from government as they do not meet the provisions of government welfare system.

Thus, in cooperation with the local church, we established Family Crisis Intervention Program which provides emergency assistance to needy persons.

Through this program, volunteers are mobilized to help individuals or families who are struggling with life situation or in financial crisis.

We not only provide assistance in economic and materials but also give spiritual support to ensure they can get through this difficult period of transition.
